Art of Chemiluminescence

I use glow stick to produce my light painting. it has a fantastic vibrant and produce a mesmerizing neon glow before slowly extinguishing. not only that, it also portable and cheap. by using a glow stick is on of the good start to produce light painting.

but a few problem that need to be face when used glow stick which is it hard for DSLR to capture for sharpness because it has a low glow effect. so mostly the images will a bit blur and not suit for large printing. it also will extinguishing within an hour so we have to create our light painting as fast as we can. as mention early, the glow stick has a low glow effect so that we need to move our stick slower to make sure our DSLR manage to capture the light movement.

conclusion of this experiment, glow stick is quite suitable to use for creating light painting even through it has a few weakness but yet it still capture my attention because of the color vibrant. my personal, i love create light painting using glow stick because of the color itself.
