SEAS

Seas - inspired by Mark Rothko’s masterpiece. It is so very commonplaces are these elements, the main foundation in life and they hardly attract attention―and yet they bestow our very existence. The beginnings of life are shrouded in myth: Climate and weather, even the quality of the air people breathe, depend in great measure on interplay between the sea and the atmosphere in ways still not fully understood. Living miracles naturally generated from sea in the presence of light, though that could just as easily suggest random coincidence as a Divinity. With its enormity and unknown, has ever been part of human consciousness. As mystery gave way to mastery, whole bodies of custom, tradition and law arose defining the rights. Mystery of mysteries, sea right there before us. Every time I view the sea, I feel a calming and sedative sense of sanctuary; I embark on a journey of seeing and believing in Creator.

Dancing in the Azure Sky's Series

The ‘Wau’ comes almost second to none. A favorite pastime in the old days, it is today regarded as an art form albeit close to extinction; as the country’s younger generation looks to new forms of artistic interpretation and self-expression. The art of ‘Wau’ making an elaborate symbolism connects the ‘Wau’ to the human soul and to the operation of shamanism and magic. It is a combination of ‘Wau’ and light technology in order to produce an abstract natural kinetics images from the ‘Wau’ movement. It’s been recorded using a bulb technique while the ‘Wau’ was flown in the air. We always have been captivated by the Wau’s design and motif that really close to our culture.
